sorry I haven't posted in a while

I'd write something now, but I'm very busy because

I'm off to New York.

my mind has melted.

A lot has been going on lately, and my mind has melted.

This video pretty much sums it up.

Today, after a lot of turmoil and many tears due to family matters which I won't get into, I painted my room.

The first coat, anyway.

It was enjoyably frustrating experience.

Tomorrow my dad will paint the second/top coat, because it seems my mum and I did not do a good enough job on the first coat.

Ah, well, less work for us I guess.

Though, we won't get off scot-free, as we will have to continue filling and moving boxes until our old house is emptied and our new house is filled to the brim.

"The fun never ends." as my mum just said.

On another note, heartbreaking and tragic note, my dog Sassy has passed away.

She had been very sick for quite a while, so we knew it was inevitable, and last night she took a turn for the worst.

We had to take her to the emergency veterinary clinic.

It was a terrible time for all of us.

She was a truly lovely dog and a real sweet heart.

We will miss her terribly.

Her ashes will be buried under the new tree we will soon be planting in our new front yard, in honour of her and the two others we've lost in recent years before her at a time when we could not afford the extra expense of private cremation.

Rest in Peace, my little Sassy Brat.
