Well that was fun!

Girly giggles, Gilmore Girls, cornucopia of confections, marvelous madness, fabulous facials, and much more.

A night well spent.

I feel vaguely drained, but will soon recover.

So much junk food, uggh, I feel sick and I have soo many leftovers.

Last night I stayed up until about 2:30 in the morning, going through all my clothes and deciding what to keep and what to get rid of.

While it was a tough decision for some pieces, maybe more sentimental than others, boy does it ever feel good!

I filled an entire laundry basket with clothes to bring to the consignment store.

And now that I've gone through all my clothing, I'm feeling inspired to go through the rest of my things.

Out with the old, in with the new!

Supernatural Season 6

So I heard from a fellow fan and very good friend of mine that Supernatural has officially been renewed for a sixth season. As you may already be able to tell, if you know me well enough, I am not exactly what you would call excited about this. In fact, I'm a little bit disappointed. It's like eating yogurt just a few days past it's expiration date. Edible, but not particularly pleasing. The show was intended to be five seasons long, because Eric Kripke, the show's creator and mastermind behind the whole thing, had a five year plan. But, due to Supernatural's growing success and popularity, the CW has decided to cling onto it for dear life and drain it of every ounce of greatness it possesses. Therefore, renewing it for a season six. I told my dad, a self proclaimed Supernatural lover, about this and the look of sheer disappointment on his face could only be rivaled by my own. While many fans are quite pleased with this, I am not. I want the show to end on a high, with a big bang, leaving me wanting more, as Kripke had intended. Not with me begging for it to end before it's ruined entirely and I can't stand to watch it anymore. But I guess I'm just 'one of those fans'. Thus far, in my eyes, the show has never let me down. (With the exception of season four Ruby, which I will most likely never forgive them for.) But this, this is a big disappointment. In the words of my dad, "It's as though they set the pot to boil, and once it reached it's boiling point they set it right back down to simmer." I feel this is a very accurate description. For five seasons, they have built the plot up to a climax point. The story arch has come so far, and now they seem to just be going backwards. While the episodes are still good, and highly entertaining, the main plot is seemingly being ignored in order to stretch out the story to fit in another season. I won't dismiss the new season altogether. My hope is that the genius Eric Kripke will still be involved, because without him the show simply cannot be the same. It's his baby, his brain child and without him the whole thing would fall apart. If he is still involved, I will keep my faith. I trust in Kripke. I will give season six a chance. I will watch it out of loyalty, but I can't guarantee I'll like it. I won't make any promises of holding back my critiques either if I don't. So here's hoping season six can match up to the greatness they've created thus far. (Though, I haven't actually had this confirmed by my online sources... so I might be way off base on this one.)

First entry on here, and I'm rather confused.

Been thinkin' about creating a blog on here for quite some time and finally got around to it. Seeing a friend of mine got a blog was just the push I needed. Sooo, here I am! I just gotta work out the kinks and fiddle with a few things, but I think I'm gonna like it here.
